How do you get new clients?

Referrals from patients and from other physicians. After nearly 30 years of practice, Dr. Hossalla is well known in the community.

Do you take insurance?

No, we do not take insurance. However, we will give you the necessary paperwork to file your claim. We want you to maximize your insurance.

What are your charges?

We have a fee schedule here.

Who board certifies a pediatrician?

The American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Hossalla is board certified.

Can I get my prescription filled by my general pediatrician?

You can, but there are two problems with this: Dr. Hossalla will not have a record of your treatment and your pediatrician does not have a record of the treatment plan we developed.

How do you like your business?

It is very rewarding and always a challenge. This is a field prediatricians have not been able to find a business model that will work due to the lack of reimbursement from the insurance providers. Hopefully, soon mental health will be reimbursed comparable to the time expended.
