About San Gabriel Pediatrics

We did not accidentally become pediatricians. We made a conscious and dedicated choice early in life to become doctorboy and babys. Then we spent many years in school. After becoming a doctor, we spent three extra years becoming pediatricians. When you visit San Gabriel Pediatrics, we want you to have as pleasant as experience as possible. Our staff at the front desk prides itself on efficient, courteous service. We strive to provide you with a positive experience. Dr. Doris Hossalla started San Gabriel Pediatrics. In fact, when she started her clinic here in 1983, she was the first pediatrician in Georgetown. They welcomed her into the medical community and into the town. She has happily made it her home. You see her at San Gabriel Pediatrics with her red stethoscope.

Soon after Dr. Hossalla started San Gabriel Pediatrics, Ellie Herrera, pediatric nurse practitioner, joined her. Ellie already had a respected reputation in the pediatric community in Georgetown. Later Dr. Gipson came aboard. In 2002, Teresa Klubak, a family nurse practitioner, joined our group. Then Kathryn Scroggins passed through on a clinical rotation.  We had seen a lot of students pass through doing rotations, but none like Kathryn. She has proven herself to be an outstanding SGP medical provider.

All San Gabriel Pediatric doctors are pediatricians, and all are board certified. Board certification is the medical professional standard for excellence, requiring repeated rigorous testing.  Professional standing requires continuing medical education which a conscientious physician meets or exceeds annually.
