After our normal working hours, we have a wonderful group of nurses to answer the questions and concerns of our patients. They are on call for us even in the late night and early morning hours! If the scope of the illness or accident merits further action, then the nurse will page one of San Gabriel providers or recommend that you go to the emergency room. The nurses also have the ability to make your child an appointment at San Gabriel Pediatrics.
Every time you call after hours and talk to a nurse, they fax us a written written description of the call, including symptoms and recommended treatment. We then place these in your child's medical record for future reference. We feel like this is a wonderful addition to our office services and provides our patients with the best possible care.
