Dr. Doris Hossalla started
San Gabriel Pediatrics. In fact, when she started her clinic here in 1983,
she was the first pediatrician in Georgetown. They welcomed her into the
medical community and into the town. She has happily made it her home. You
see her at San Gabriel Pediatrics with her red stethoscope. |

Dr. Doris
Hossalla, MD
Before starting
San Gabriel Pediatrics in 1983,
Doctor Hossalla was Chief Resident at Scott and White Hospital
in Temple. She got her undergraduate degree at Capital
University in Ohio and completed medical school at Ohio State.
Dr. Hossalla is a board-certified pediatrician.
She has two
daughters; Kirstin, a veterinarian student at Texas A&M and
Lara, a drama student at Roosevelt University in Chicago.
Dr Hossalla knows from experience the fears and challenges
facing a parent. |

Dr. Adana Gipson,
MD
Before joining San Gabriel in 1998, Doctor Gipson was
Chief Resident at Dallas Children's Medical Center and in private practice for one year. She got
her medical degree at Southwestern Medical School after
graduating from UT Austin, Texas. She is a board-certified
pediatrician.
Doctor Gipson has two sons. David, nine years
old and in the third grade, and a newborn, Paul. |

Ellie Herrera,
PNP
Ellie may know more about children than anyone in
Georgetown. Ellie has been with San Gabriel Pediatrics since
1996. She did her graduate work at Texas Women's University.
Ellis is a pediatric nurse practitioner with 30 years
experience in pediatrics. She has reared 3 children to
adulthood. She has started the process over again with her
nine year old son, Andrew, who is in third grade. |

Teresa
Klubak, FNP
Teresa is a family nurse practitioner. Teresa joined San
Gabriel Pediatrics in 2002. She has nursing degrees from both
UT Austin and Texas A&M. She completed her nurse practitioner
training in San Antonio Health Science Center. Teresa is
splitting her time between her family and her career.
Teresa has a five year old
daughter, Katie, who is attending kindergarten this fall.

Dr. Verna Rose, MD
Doctor Rose is board certified
in pediatrics and clinical genetics. She completed medical
school at Texas A&M University pediatric
residency at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas and her genetics
fellowship at UT Houston.
She first joined San Gabriel Pediatrics
in 1993. She has recently returned after moving back to
Austin. She is delighted to be back. |
